Good news everyone the PQF Board of Directors has approved our first distribution of funds for research. This year we are giving a check to the Neuro-Oncology Research Fund at CHOP to further their goals of one day being able to stop Neurological cancer. This would be a wonderful accomplishment and we are proud to provide a small part of the much needed research funding. Many childhood cancer research funds are waiting for funding because they are often left with the crumbs after adult cancer research. We have been told that our friends at SU2C will be provide $10 million dollars to pediatric cancer research soon and we hope our families at CHOP are able to benefit from this. So please give what you can when you can ’cause kids get cancer too!
