The Pearce Q. Foundation, Inc. is an organization dedicated to helping children who suffer with cancer. Our group has firsthand knowledge of the initial and ongoing needs of these children and their families as they struggle to navigate through the treatment cycles.

Pearce Q. Foundation, Inc. was started as a family fund established to assist our name sake Pearce Quesenberry and her family. After Pearce completed her battle with Medulloblastoma she has become an active advocate for children with childhood cancers and their families.

We are a group of survivors who need to serve others through awareness and support. Our catalyst is Pearce, herself a survivor of cancer, who is actively involved in the daily management of the Foundation's efforts and has a great deal of input into what the child with cancer needs and helps us set goals for the Foundation.

As a group of volunteers, with minimal overhead, we are able to distribute a large portion of every donated dollar. With fifty percent of our resources being distributed directly to the children with cancer and their families. Thirty percent of our resources are directed to an ongoing research effort at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and other quality of life projects. The remainder of our available resources go to help raise awareness of childhood cancers and support our fund raising activities.

We work with other organizations, like CHOP, the Make-a-Wish Foundation and the Children's Miracle Network, for our family support efforts and strive to work with other organizations to streamline our efforts and reduce duplication of services.

Your IRS 501 (c) 3 tax deductible contribution of gifts and services are appreciated and will be utilized to help our community of children and their families.

Helping Pearce help kids.

It is United Way time again. You can give to the Pearce Q Foundation, just enter us as your designated charity on the form or enter #12481 instead of our name.

DSRG reach out and supports the PQF..Join us and the Roller Derby on April 20th 7:30 pm. Come out for some great fund and help Pearce help kids with cancer !!

Diamond State Roller Grils (DSRG) is a nonprofit group seeking to use the growing popularity of roller derby to promote and support other local organizations and the work that they do. We are a "for women, by women" organization who like to have fun, whether it's hitting each other on the track or giving back to our community.

Roller derby is a full contact sport played on traditional quad wheel roller skates. It combines speed, hard hits, and on-your-feet strategizing into one glorious sport - and it is a whole lot of fun! If interested, please check out our website at: www.diamondstaterollergirls.com. We are always looking for new skaters, referees, and Non Skating Officials.
